Putnam Land Conservancy

PLC Treasurer Robert Blount has over 40-years’ experience in non-profit management. Holding degrees from the University of Florida, Florida State University, and Yale University, Blount has worked for and with environmental organizations throughout the state to preserve, maintain, and restore biodiversity. His efforts led to the restoration of an 82-acre historic beachfront for the City of Miami – Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Blount was CEO at seven museums and founding museum director of two.  He served as PLC’s Executive Director during the establishment of Little Orange Creek Nature Park.
