Alan Hodges, Vice-President


Alan Wade Hodges is an agricultural economist who worked for 34 years at the University of Florida, where he conducted a broad research and public outreach program on regional economic impact assessment. He received Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. He is a native of Iowa and lives on a small farm in Alachua County, Florida. Since his retirement in 2019 he has served as a board member for PLC and volunteered for other environmental organizations to assist with making the case for economic benefits of land conservation.
